The Academy of Medical Specialties was established in the year 1979 under the auspices of Indian Medical Association Headquarters with a vision a forum to specialists and Super-Specialties of all branches of Medicine to discuss multi disciplinary matters of academic interest. The main objectives of IMA AMS are to update all the members of IMA of the recent advances in the field of Medicine and allied subjects for achieving better clinical judgement and to motivate specialists to actively participate in all other activities of the Indian Medical Association.

IMA AMS conducts Courses in Medical Specialties with sole intention of improving Knowledge and skills of medical professionals in their respective fields. the duration of course in general is one year. these courses are not recognized by MCI

IMA AMS Telanagana State conducting the Following courses for this year -2021

Infertility Course for MD DGO & MS OBG (fee: RS.80000/-), Registrations are started, Course Duration 10months.
Basic Laparoscopy Course for General Surgeons and Gynaec Surgeons(Fee: RS.65,000/-), Registrations are started, Course Duration 10months.
Basic Endoscopy Course for General Surgeons(fee: RS.65,000/-), Registrations are started, Course Duration 10months.
