• IMA PP&WS started in the year 1997 and it is very well established.
• It is necessitated by the application of consumer protection act to the Medical Profession.
• The Present Membership: 1367, Aim is to increase up to 2000.
• PP&WS Scheme is for Doctors, of the Doctors and by the Doctors.
• Helps you to counter any litigations in the Medical Practice.
• Eligibility: Membership of IMA Telangana State Branch.
• Coverage is upto one Crore on 1:1 ratio for hospital Category
• Pay for (4) years, get benefits for (5) Years
• Provides Medical and Legal Expertise
• It is to build up our own scheme rather than General Insurance and Other Insurances, So that funds can be used for welfare of Members.
• Out of Court settlement up to maximum of Rupees Five Lakhs depending upon on the coverage amount of scheme.
• This scheme is financially sound to fulfil for paying the court awards
• Members with One Core coverage -12, 50Lakhs Coverage- 147.
• No Claim discount up to 50% depending upon seniority in the Scheme
• Our Scheme provides the best defence in difficult times.
• Complementary Health benefit coverage in TS Health Scheme from 2019
• Up to Rs.10,00,000/-(Ten Lakhs) is Rs.1,00,000/-(One Lakh)
• Up to Rs.20,00,000/-(Twenty Lakhs) is Rs.1,00,000/-(Two Lakhs)
• Up to Rs.50,00,000/-(Fifty Lakhs) is Rs.1,00,000/-(Three Lakhs)
